With our technical expertise and in-depth experience, we provide feasible performance-based fire safety engineering solutions in targeting project design needs and meeting required authority approvals whilst not compromising on fire safety.

Our track record covers the full range of residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructural projects. These include shopping centres, entertainment resorts, airports, high-rise, railway stations, as well as road and rail tunnels. Our Principal Dr SL Poon (CPEng, NPER, FSE, MIEAust, SFS, ATS) is a Registered Fire Safety Engineer in Australia, Singapore and Malaysia with extensive experience in performance-based fire engineering design, and has 80 publications in this field.

Our Associate Ir. VL Koh (M.Sc, P.Eng, FSE) is a Registered Fire Safety Engineer in Malaysia with BOMBA. He has extensive experience in fire safety design philosophy (FSDP), quantitative risk analysis (QRA), performance-based approach (PBA) and some publications in this field.

As a specialist service provider in areas of fire safety, key staff members of Leong Poon & Associates (LP&A) have acquired more than 30 years of expertise in the area of fire safety design for a diverse range of projects.
